Today I painted the northern lights on my painting. I used the colors green silver and purple. The problem I had was that the northern lights weren't mixing together as well as I thought. they just stayed the color instead of mixing to create the look of the northern lights like. I used a little more paint to make the color pop. I also used a little water to help it mix. I learned to mix the paint with water to help it mix. I also learned to be patient with the paint.

Today I painted the whole thing black to start it off. Then I started to paint mountains but it didn't end up working so I painted it all black to do an all sky painting. The problem I occurred was that my mountains didn't look the way I wanted. They were the wrong shape.  So to fix this problem I just painted over them. To make a full black sky so I didn't have to paint mountains. To conclude this I learned to not just try to paint thing  never tried to before on a school project. To paint them on a paper or some were else first.

(there is a sketch on here it just wouldn't come up in the picture) Today I have started to sketch on my blank piece of dry wall. I am hoping to get at least the northern lights sketched out.  My problem was that I sketched my northern lights to close together. Witch I  personally didn't like the look of it like that. Lucky I drew the lines soft with my pencil so it was easy to erase. witch made it also easy to use ruler to figure out were I should draw everything  I learned to measure the width between everything. I should take more time to draw out were want everything so I don't mess up again.
